Professor Duparcq graduated from the University of
Antwerp (Belgium) in econometrics/quantitative methods.
Subsequently, he worked on modeling passenger traffic
demand and taught mathematics at the University of Antwerp.
In 1993 he obtained a Ph.D. in Marketing and Quantitative
Methods at the Krannert Graduate School of Management
(Purdue University).
Professor Duparcq's teaching and research interests
are in marketing strategy, e-Business & Technology
strategy, and Electronic/Interactive Marketing. More
recently his research interest have evolved around the
applications of telematics and biometrics in business.
Currently, Patrick Duparcq is teaching Technology &
e-Business Consulting and e-Commerce & Internet
Marketing at at the Krannert Graduate School of Management
(Purdue University). He also teaches Internet Marketing
at the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).
Previously, Professor Duparcq taught at The Netherlands
Business School at Nijenrode University (The Netherlands),
The University of Rouen (France), German International
School of Management and Administration (Germany), Budapest
University of Economic Sciences (Hungary) and The University
of Vienna (Austria).
Professor Duparcq has advised companies on e-Business
strategy and Technology in the U.S., Asia, and Europe,
and serves several advisory boards. He lives in Chicago,
and is director of the Center for E-Business Education
and Research (CEER) at Purdue University.
