The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University has one tenure-track opening at the assistant or associate professor level in marketing to begin Fall 2010. Candidates must have a strong commitment to research and teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs in management and a research oriented Ph.D. program in marketing. A Ph.D. in marketing or a related discipline is required. Salary and benefits are competitive.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

The Finance Area in the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University is accepting applications for one or more tenure-track positions at the West Lafayette, IN campus starting with the Fall 2010 semester. Salary and faculty ranks are commensurate with experience.

A doctoral degree in Finance is required. A strong interest in scholarship, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and course and curriculum development is expected.

Job duties will include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in finance, conducting research in field of expertise, attending department and university meetings, and overseeing student research.

The Economics Department at Purdue University is seeking one or more tenure track faculty at the Associate or Full Professor level, with the positions beginning August, 2010. The Brock Family Chair is designed for a preeminent scholar who is internationally recognized for research and educational impact in the area of strategic management. The Krannert Graduate School of Management invites applicants for one or more tenure track appointments in accounting beginning Fall 2010. Rank is at either the assistant or associate professor level. Candidates for an assistant professor position should have (or be near completion of) a doctorate and exhibit the capacity for research publishable in top-tier accounting journals and excellence in teaching. Candidates for an associate professor position should have an earned doctorate and an established record of excellence in research, teaching and service on doctoral dissertation committees. A tenured associate professor appointment is possible for a candidate with the appropriate credentials. We seek individuals who can teach tax, financial or managerial accounting to undergraduate and graduate students depending on the candidate’s experience. Opportunities to teach in the executive program may also be available. We offer a competitive compensation package.
