Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Management Information Systems (MIS)

The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University invites applications for one or more tenure-track/tenured faculty position(s) in Management Information Systems (MIS), beginning in mid-August 2013, at the assistant, associate, or full professor level as appropriate.  A Ph.D. in MIS or a closely related area is required by the start of employment.  Candidates for one of the positions must have expertise and a serious interest in both MIS and business analytics.  Evidence of high-quality research and teaching is desired.  Responsibilities for the position(s) will include conducting research, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and participating in course and curriculum development.  Applications will be accepted and evaluated until the position(s) are filled.  Preference will, however, be given to those who apply before December 1, 2012.

Clinical Associate Professor in Accounting

The Krannert School of Management invites applications for a clinical associate professor position in Accounting beginning Fall Semester, 2012. The primary responsibilities include a leadership role in our Master of Science (Accounting) program and developing and teaching financial and/or managerial accounting courses in our graduate and undergraduate programs. Opportunities for teaching specialized courses (e.g., experiential learning, forensic accounting) and in our executive programs may also be available. Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree in Accounting or related field. Knowledge in online teaching is desired. Professional accounting and/or consulting experience and certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) are also strongly desired. We offer a competitive compensation package. Continuous Term Lecturer in Economics

The Economics Department at Purdue University invites applications for a Continuous Term Lecturer appointment in Economics beginning Fall 2012. Candidates are expected to teach primarily at the undergraduate level and should have demonstrated excellence in teaching. The standard teaching load for such an appointment is 24 semester credit hours per academic year, including some large lectures. However, the assignment will involve multiple sections of the same course, such that there should be no more than 2 or 3 distinct preparations per academic year. In addition, teaching assistants will be assigned when large lectures are involved. A PhD in Economics or closely related field is required. Continuous term lecturers are hired for an initial period of two years, with no limit on the number of additional one-year contract extensions subject to performance and teaching demands.

Continuous Term Lecturer in Finance

The Krannert School of Management invites applicants for one Continuous Term Lecturer appointment in finance beginning Fall 2012. The Marge Magner Chair in Marketing is designed for a preeminent scholar who is internationally recognized for her/his research and educational impact in marketing.
