Research Information:
My research interests currently include information
security and privacy, specifically the implications
of both for managers in the eBusiness environment. I
am specifically looking at the role of security policy
as the vehicle for managing information security-related
risks to the organization. I
began this line of research through involvement with
the Center for Education, Research and Information Assurance
(CERIAS) at Purdue. I also study adaptive models for
complex systems, group decision support systems, genetic
algorithms, data mining, artificial intelligence and
machine learning.
Other Information:
I am a faculty member in the MIS area at the Krannert
Graduate School of Business. I finished my PhD in 1998
at the University of Florida in what is now the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management.
Personal Information:
I was born in Omaha NE but lived in
Florida (Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Gainesville) for 15
years. I moved
from Gainesville to West Lafayette after joining the
faculty at Krannert in 1998.
