Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR)

Purdue’s one-day program for newly admitted undergraduate students. Meet with an academic advisor and create your course schedule. It's your day to be formally welcomed to Purdue.

A visit to our campus can really help you understand everything you could look forward to at Purdue. You can walk the campus, meet the people and get answers to your questions. There are a couple options for visiting.

First, and the one we strongly recommend, is to sign up for a Purdue visit. Daily visits, Prospective Student Events, Admitted Student Events and Group Visits are great ways to get to know Purdue, the campus and Krannert.

Fall Preview Days is one of the best ways for high school seniors to see what Purdue has to offer. You can learn about admissions procedures, talk with Purdue staff members, meet current management students to learn about their campus experiences, tour our campus, and eat in one of the residence halls.

Introducing Purdue is a spring visitation program designed for high school sophomores and juniors who are beginning the college search process. By attending Introducing Purdue, you can find out what you need to do to be admitted to Purdue, talk with staff members in the management school, meet current Purdue students, and visit our residence halls.

Purdue's For Me is a visitation day for high school seniors who have applied and been admitted to Purdue University. It gives you the opportunity to take one last look at the campus and ask any final questions you might have about life at Purdue. You'll have time to meet students and staff, take a walking tour of campus, and check out our residence halls.

If none of those options work, just call  (765) 494-4343. The friendly staff can arrange a time when you may tour the Krannert buildings, talk with a student ambassador and meet some of the faculty.

No matter which option works for you, the Visitor Information site has all the details on parking, directions and hours. We look forward to meeting you soon.
