Marshall Larsen began his career as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army after earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1970.

After completing his commission and earning a master’s degree from Krannert in 1977, Larsen joined Goodrich as an operations analyst and financial manager.

Larsen became director of planning and analysis at Goodrich in 1981 and subsequently director of product marketing. He became an assistant to the president in 1986 and later served as general manager of several divisions of the aerospace business. In 1995, he was appointed executive vice president of the company and president and COO of its aerospace business. He was named president and CEO of Goodrich in 2003.

Larsen is on the board of governors of the U.S. Aerospace Industries Association and is a member of the board of directors of the Charlotte Regional Partnership. He also serves as a director of Lowe's Companies Inc. and Becton, Dickinson and Co.

“The Krannert School was instrumental in helping me transition from being a career Army officer to a business professional,” Larsen says. “I owe a great deal of my success to the management education I received at Purdue.”

Abel P. Jeuland studies the design and application of analytical marketing tools to address such marketing issues as product design and new product diffusion, forecasting, the effects of marketing mix variables, and the nature of competition in product differentiation and market segmentation.

A native of France, Jeuland spent his baccalaureate years in the scientific field.

He earned his license in business management from Paris University in 1972 while simultaneously earning an advanced degree in engineering from Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures with a specialization in applied mathematics. After graduation, Jeuland moved to the United States, where he earned a PhD in industrial administration at Purdue’s Krannert School in 1975. He joined the Chicago Booth faculty in 1975.

“I will always cherish the experiences of my three years at Purdue,” Jeuland says. “They were my first introduction to America. There was so much to learn and experience, and yy studies in the PhD program at Krannert were wonderful.”

Charles Schalliol focuses his legal practice on emerging companies, private equity, venture capital and corporate finance.

Before joining Baker & Daniels, he was director of the Indiana Office of Management and Budget and chief financial officer for the State of Indiana.

Prior to serving in state government, Schalliol was the first president and CEO of BioCrossroads, the Indiana-based life sciences initiative. He led the effort to create a comprehensive strategy for Indiana’s life sciences sector and the formation of several new businesses, promotion of high-tech jobs and creation of two venture funds.

“The most rewarding part of my involvement with Purdue and the Krannert School has been the opportunity to interact with the very bright and interesting faculty, staff and students associated with its various entities and programs,” Schalliol says. “I always leave infused with new ideas and enthusiasm.”
