1990
- Bibek Banerjee, MSM '90, PhD '94, is director of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) in Ghaziabad, India. He previously served as a professor of marketing and economics at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), where he spearheaded IIMA’s collaboration with Duke Corporate Education, the top global provider of customized corporate education.
- Gregg Clark, BSIM '90, has rejoined Ernst & Young LLP as the Americas leader for consumer products in the Advisory Services practice in Connecticut. Prior to returning to Ernst & Young, where he first worked in 1999, Clark was a partner at Accenture in the North American Consumer Products Client Group.
- Jeff Hupke, BSIM '90, was promoted to president of R-O-M Corporation in Kansas City, MO. He joined R-O-M as chief financial officer in 2005 and assumed the additional role of chief operating officer in 2007.
- Pareena G. Lawrence, MSM, Econ '90, PhD '93, was named dean of Augustana College, where she will administer the academic program and lead the work of 313 faculty members in the college's 28 academic departments. She served previously as the chair of the Division of Social Sciences at the University of Minnesota Morris UMM.
- Tarrus Richardson, BSM ’91, was named CEO at IMB Development Corp., which develops large-scale minority businesses that partner with government and select corporations to generate jobs, income and community opportunities. Richardson was previously co-founder and managing director at ICV Partners.
- Thomas A. Holland, BSIM ’93, BSM ’94, Portland, OR, and his wife, Terri, welcomed the birth of their daughter, Alexis Deborah, on February 16. Both her and her brother are being raised as Boilermakers from the start!
- Geir Liland Sorensen, MSM ’93, New Canaan, CT, has been expatriated from Norway to Stamford, CT, to be controller for the energy company Statoils — a worldwide crude and condensate business.
- Joe Renzetti, MSM '94, was appointed chief operating officer at Minnetronix Inc., a St. Paul, MN, medical device design and manufacturing firm. He previously served as president of Specialty Construction Brands.
- Zamzuri Hassim, BSM (ECON ’95), currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Randall S. Brant, MSM ’96, has joined American Circulation Innovations (ACI) in Long Beach, CA, as vice president of sales and marketing. Brant has previously held leadership positions in print, digital and niche publishing with newspapers including the Dallas Morning News, Detroit News and Free Press, Denver Post, Salt Lake Tribune and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
- Jennifer Aspell, MSM ’97, was appointed general manager of Bright View Technologies, a Tredegar Corp. company in Morrisville, NC. Prior to joining Bright View, Aspell led Gradient Consulting Group, a firm specializing in business management, operations, and product development oversight for technology companies.
- Chris McKee, MSM ’97, was promoted to senior vice president, operations, at CNO Financial Group Inc. in Carmel, IN. McKee joined CNO in 1991 and has served in a variety of IT leadership roles.
- Kathryn A. Eyler Chellgren, BSM ’98, Coconut Creek, FL, and her husband, David, welcomed the birth of their second child, Daniel William, on May 13. 2010.
- Rose Kelly-Falls, MSM '98, is leading the new Purdue Research Park Indianapolis office of Rapid Ratings International Inc., which offers counterparty risk management services to corporations and financial institutions. Kelly-Falls previously served as the president and co-founder of Fuzion Group LLC, a supply-chain consultancy firm.
- Gabriel Odeh, MSM ’98, is director of product development at MedAssurant in Bowie, MD.
- David E. Jenkins, MSM ’99, and Janice Beer Jenkins, Ann Arbor, MI, welcomed the birth of their daughter, Ava Simone, to the Boiler Nation on July 4, 2010.
- Andrew S. Knosp, BSIM ’99, and his wife Brenda K. Franks Knosp, DP ’01, Pleasanton, CA, are happy to announce the arrival of their second daughter, Kayla Lillian, on April 13, 2010.
- Megan G. Wunderlich Marschall, BSM ’99, Chicago, IL, joined the Chicago-based real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle to oversee busi¬ness development for the Project Development Services group in the Midwest. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project Development Services group manages new construction and real estate projects for clients locally and globally.
- Nathan A. Rentschler, BSM ’99, married Sarah Atkinson Rentschler on October 30, 2010. The happy couple resides in Brownsburg, IN.

- Kelly A. Eidson, M ’00, Arlington Heights, IL, was recently awarded the Purdue Bands Orchestra Shooting Star Award for Young Alumni.
- Scott Evernham, BSM ’00, was recognized by the Evansville Courier-Press in its annual “20 Under 40” listing of the Indiana city’s top young professionals. Evernham is vice president, assistant general counsel and assistant corporate secretary at Old National Bank.
- Darin M. Gesse, MSM ’00, Farmington Hills, MI, is on a temporary assignment in Seoul, South Korea, to lead advanced vehicle program management activities for General Motors.
- Ganesan Srinivasen, MSM ’00, was named an American Society of Agronomy (ASA) Fellow at the organization’s 2010 annual meeting. Srinivasen is director of the University Agricultural Laboratory at California State University, Fresno.
- János Winkler, MSM ’00, was appointed to the board of directors of E.ON Hungária. Winkler has spent some 20 years as a top executive in the telecommunications industry at Westel/T-Mobil and later at Magyar Telekom, where he served as deputy CEO.
- Mark C. Correll, BSM ’01, and his wife, Alicia, Carmel, IN, welcomed the birth of their second son, Henry, on June 20, 2010. Henry also was welcomed home by big brother, Isaac.
- Ravi Haldipur, MBA ’01, and his wife, Suchetha, welcome the birth of their first child, a son, Abhay Haldipur, on February 23, 2010.
- Eduardo J.S Pereira, MBA ’01, is director of agricultural operations for Bunge Ltd. in Brazil.
- Joe M. Rago, M ’01, and Alison K. Schulz Rago (LA ’01), Westmont, IL, welcomed the birth of their daughter, Alivia Grace, on October 4, 2010.
- Scott W. Sabau, BSM ’01, and Elizabeth G. Sanders Sabau (NRS ’01), Pensacola, FL, welcomed the birth of their second daughter, Charlotte Theresa, on March 26, 2010.
- Elliot J. Santner, MBA ’01, and Julia P. Pedigo Santner, M ’00, Lake Zurich, IL, welcomed the birth of their daughter, Allison, on October 18, 2010. Allison was welcomed home by 2-year-old big brother, Zachary.
- Jeff Shirrell, BSM (ACCT) ’01, has joined Wolters Kluwer in Riverwoods, IL.
- Alexander R. Wessels, IMM ’01, is the new president and CEO of DSM Pharmaceutical Products in Parsippany, NJ, the pharmaceutical ingredients and contract manufacturing organization of Royal DSM NV. He previously as business group president DSM Food Specialties.
- Matthew Freiburger, BSM (ACCT) ’02, was recently awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, passing all three levels of the CFA examinations on his first attempt. In addition, he has been promoted to the position of portfolio manager for Steele Investment Counsel Ltd., an independent investment advisory and money management firm located in Dublin, OH.
- Kenneth Renfrew, IMM ’02, is now vice president, sales and marketing for the Americas, at ZenPure in Charlotte, NC.
- Amy (Dumakowski) Smith, BSM ’02, of New Castle, IN, and her husband, James, welcomed the birth of their son, Brennan James, on April 19, 2010.
- Angela Anetsberger, MSHRM ’03, and her husband, Peter Anetsberger, MBA ’03, welcomed the birth of their second daughter on September 27, 2010.
- Dr. Nathaniel Justice, MBA ’03, has joined New Castle Pediatrics in New Castle, IN. Justice, a graduate of the Indiana University of Medicine, completed his pediatrics internship and residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN.
- Jessica Stensland Brown, BSM ’04, married Kevin Brown on May 7, 2010, in Tulum, Mexico.
- Alex Kovach, BSM ’04, MBA ’09, is a senior financial analyst with Hawker Beechcraft and resides in Derby, KS.
- Sahar Zaidi, BSM ’04, com¬pleted her MBA from the American Univer¬sity of Sharjah in May 2010. She is working as a research assistant for professors at the same institution.
- Ravi Aggarwal, BSIM ’05, has joined Google Inc. as a software test engineer.
- Charles Elwood, MSIA ’05, welcomed the birth of another son, Michael Maythat Elwood, on February 11, 2011.
- Rachel M. Giger, BSM ’05, and Joe Hunnewell, Chicago, IL, are pleased to announce their engagement. Rachel is a pharmaceutical sales representative with Abbott Laboratories. Joe is a graduate of Illinois State University and is an editor with Filmworkers in Chicago. The happy couple is planning an October 22 wedding.
- David Owen, BSIM ’05, and his wife, Nancy, welcomed the birth of their second child, Douglas Belknap Owen II, on March 23, 2011. The family resides in Dallas, TX.
- Allen R. Still, BSM ’05, and Cami S. O’Connor Still (HSC ’05), Indianapolis, IN, welcomed the birth of their son, Keaton Michael, on September 3, 2010.
- Ethem Gurbas, MBA ’06, now resides in Golcuk Kocaeli Izmit, Turkey.

- Ryan N. Wills, BSM ’06, married Lisa M. Basil Wills, BSM ’05, on May 1, 2010, in Munster, IN. Lisa is a financial analyst in Chicago and Ryan is an operations manager in the Chicago area.
- John C. Dawson, BSM ’07, married Gretchen E. Heurich Dawson (LA ’06) in Zionsville, IN. The couple resides in Zionsville.
- Paige (Butler) Viollt, BSM ’07, and Kevin Viollt, BSM (ACCT) ’08, were married on August 28, 2010. The couple resides in Oak Park, IL.
- Alejandro Padilla, BSM ’08, is a financial analyst with Citibank.
- Chris Prendergast, MBA ’08, has joined Click Rain as an online marketing strategist, where he will manage analytics, e-mail, search and social marketing projects for a variety of clients. Prendergast, who is Google Analytics certified, also has been running his own e-commerce operation for the past two years.
- Candace L. Curtis, BSM ’09, Chicago, IL, works with PRP Wine International Inc. as a new wine consultant and would like to offer Purdue Alumni a free in-home wine tasting for anyone living in the Chicago area.
- James Journay, BSM ’09, is currently a millwork first assistant with Menard’s in Crestwood, IL.
- Charles A. Moore, MBA ’09, Lafayette, IN, has joined software startup Allegro Dynamics as director of business operations. Allegro Dynamics is located in the Kurz Purdue Technology Center, which is part of the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette.
- Deepali Pratap, MBA ’09, is the manager of MphasiS Corporate Support at HP Alliance, a Hewlett-Packard company in Bangalore, India.
- John S. Reeve, MBA ’09, Lake Worth, FL, is now the director of global service at Quantachrome Instruments in Boyton Beach, FL.
