Randall Lewis returns to Krannert
Alumnus Randall Lewis, the school’s 2010 Business Leadership Award winner, has returned to his alma mater as executive director of the Krannert Professional Development Center (KDPC).
Lewis (BS ACCT ’84, MSM ’89) brings with him a corporate career that has included 13 years at GE, with his last role as CFO of consumer financial services; six years at Wells Fargo as executive vice president and chief auditor; and six years at WellPoint as executive vice president and chief compliance officer. Since 2009, he has been involved as lead in two entrepreneurial ventures, s2f Worldwide LLC and Exodus Commercial Capital LLC.
Lewis has been an active and supportive alumni of the school, serving on the Krannert Dean’s Advisory Council, the Krannert School Alumni Association board of directors, the Purdue Research Foundation board of directors, and the Burton D. Morgan Entrepreneurship Center advisory board.
Christina Smith named advancement director
Christina K. Smith is Krannert’s new director of advancement. A highly accomplished leader, Smith brings to Purdue 20 years of dynamic leadership and successful fundraising experience having garnered over $300 million through private philanthropy and public-private partnerships in support of educational, public policy and humanitarian initiatives.
A Middle East and Central Asian specialist, Smith also is a trained peace builder with expertise in the socio-political rehabilitation of highly traumatized societies. Her diverse global leadership experience includes service in the governmental, educational and humanitarian arenas in post-war Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kuwait, Iraq, Bosnia and the Palestinian territories.
A proud Hoosier native, Smith is a graduate of Huntington University and holds an MA in international relations from the University of Virginia. She formerly served as associate vice president for strategic advancement at Grace College and executive director of Questa Foundation for Education in Fort Wayne, Ind.
