Karl J. Krapek, MSIA, has retired as president and COO of United Technologies
Corp. in Hartford, Conn., a position he held since 1999. Previously, he served
as president of the company's units Otis Elevator, Carrier air-conditioning,
and Pratt & Whitey during his 20-year tenure with United Technologies.
1973
Gloria P. Watts-Jones, MSM, is a volunteer, department of staff development,
with the Birmingham (Ala.) VA Medical Center. She received the Outstanding
Volunteer Service Award trophy, with seven years (3,278 hours) of service.
1977 -
25th Anniversary Year
VADM Terry M. Cross, MSIA, has been promoted from rear admiral to vice admiral
and commander, Pacific Area, in the U.S. Coast Guard.
1982 -
20th Anniversary Year
Cory R. Lupinacci, MSM, has
a new position as a finance director, international purchasing, with Lear Corporation
in Sulzbach, Germany.

Philip A. Andre, MSM, has a new position as director, group planning and development,
with Flowserve in Dallas, Tex. He and his family recently relocated to the
Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Bruno Colmant, MSIA,
has been awarded a PhD in finance from Brussels University in Belgium.
1995
Jay Johnson, MSIA, is an executive general manager with Mitsubishi Motors Corp.
in Tokyo, Japan. He was recently named to the board of directors for Mitsubishi
Automotive Logistics Corp.
1997 -
5th Anniversary Year
Aaron Lai, MSM, writes: "I am very excited to tell my friends and classmates
that I have finally received my CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation!
This is the most difficult examination I have ever taken and I can now officially
call myself Aaron Lai, CFA, along with 50,000 other CFA holders around the
globe."
George
E. Trent III, MSM, is a director, manufacturing advanced fillers and pigments
division, with Degussa Corp. in Chester, Pa.
1998
Anthony "Jack" Vogt,
MSIA, made it to the finals in competition for a 2001-02 White House Fellowship.
He was one of the final 30 candidates.
1999
Andrew Greta, MSM, writes: "I have a new position with GE Capital on the
business development (i.e., M&A) team at our Global Consumer Finance division.
Much more of a buy-side finance focus than my previous role, I'll be basically
working a pipeline of international consumer credit acquisitions in Europe
and Asia."
Lt.
Jonathan Spaner, MSM, has been selected as one of 13 White House Fellows.
A program reviewer in the Coast Guard Office of the Chief of Staff in Washington,
D.C., he assesses budgetary needs for Coast Guard missions and advises
the commandant on policy matters. As a White House Fellow, he will work
as an aide to senior White House staff or as a special assistant to a Cabinet
Secretary.
2001
G. Nicolás Kfuri, MBA, writes: "My PhD thesis, The Impact of
Technology in Organizations, has recently been approved by all members of
the board at Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina."

1958
William Kidney, BS (IND ECON), is retired and in his seventh year of volunteer
service to Sumter County (Fla.) Schools. He also is director of the Sumter
Schools Enhancement Foundation.
1964
Robert R. Arnold, BSIM, is director of operations with Smithlain Enterprises
Inc. in Huntsville, Ala. He also is president of the Florida Tech Alumni Association
(National). On October 29, 1999, he and the former Carolyn Cowen were married.
1969
Alan R. Traenkner, BSIM, works for the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational
Safety & Health Administration, Direct Analysis and Evaluation, in San
Francisco, Calif. He is the president of the Campolindo Homeowners Association
and vice president/board of directors member of the Olympic Village Inn Corp.
1979
Rosalie J. (Alvey) Kahanek, BSIM, is an insurance agent with Progressive Insurance
in Austin, Texas. She is a past president of the BPO Does. She and Earl Kahanet,
a self-employed rock mason, were married in October 2001.
1981
Elizabeth (Owen) Joy, BSM, has retired from the U.S. Navy after
20 years of commissioned service. She lives in Blandon, Pa.
Thomas
A. Massey, BSM, is an attorney/managing partner with Bowers Harrison, LLP,
a 20-attorney law firm in Evansville, Ind. He also is serving a three-year
term as the police commissioner for the City of Evansville.
1983
David Troeger, BSIM, is president of Gaiser EDM Tooling Inc., in Elkhart, Ind.
He and his partner recently acquired the EDM Tooling Division of Gaiser Tool
of Ventura, Calif., and relocated the product development, manufacturing, servicing,
and distribution for Gaiser EDM Tooling to Elkhart.

Jeanine E. Gise, BSIM, is a trade marketing manager with Colgate Palmolive
in New York City.
Barbara
(Bradley) Lima, BS (ACCT), announces the birth of a son, Nicholas, on May
29, 2002.

Steven J. Armond, BS (ACCT), has a new position as vice president, finance & administration,
with Divine Inc., in Lisle, Ill. He writes: "My wife, Kari, and I had
our first child, Calen Joseph, on July 15, 2001."
Karen
Cho Goodman, BS (ACCT), writes: "Emily Nicole was born July 2, 2001.
She is welcomed by her big sister, Hannah Elise."
Kelly
Skinner-Weigle, BSM, is an assistant corporate controller with Sugar Creek
Packing Co. in Washington Court House, Ohio. She and her husband welcomed
their first child, a daughter, on November 25, 2001.

Steve Brock, BSIM, is president/consulting & business coaching, Anne Morgan
Consulting, in Summerfield, N.C. He writes: "Jen (BA '94) and I started
Anne Morgan Consulting in June 2001 and purchased the master territory for
Action International in December 2001."

Christopher Blanchard, BSM, is a personal trainer in Michigan City, Ind. He
changed his name from Christopher B. Smith in 1996.
1995
Jorge Flores, BSM, married Gina DiFabio on August 31, 2001, and lives in Springboro,
Ohio, where he works as a marketing manager for Procter & Gamble.
Angela
R. Rager, BSM, is assistant directorfor development at the Indiana University
School of Law in Indianapolis.
1999
Bridget Lenard, BSM, is a sales analyst with Levy Home Entertainment in Hillside,
Ill. Her husband is Derek Lenard (see below).
2000
Derek Lenard, BSM, left his consulting position at Accenture in November 2001
and is now an independent consultant. His wife is Bridget Lenard (see above).
2002
Capt. Jerry A. Stevenson II, BSM, is among the winners of the American Bar
Association Standing Committee on Legal Assistance for Military Personnel (LAMP)
2001 LAMP Distinguished Service Award. He has been recognized for his contribution
to the superior legal services provided by the legal assistance office at the
Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego.
