 CIBER Gets New Director, Managing Director
Greg Hundley, associate professor, organizational behavior/human resources, is the new director of Purdue's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER). Hundley's interests include human resource management, compensation and reward, international human resource management, and labor relations. He has been with Krannert for four years.

Hundley previously held faculty appointments at the University of Oregon (where he served as chair of the Department of Management and director of the Institute of Industrial Relations), the University of Minnesota, the University of Western Australia, and Xavier University. His research has been published in a variety of major journals, including the British Journal of Industrial Relations; Industrial Relations; the Industrial and Labor Relations Review; the Journal of Human Resources; the Academy of Management Journal and the Strategic Management Journal.

His current research programs are concerned with the effects of individual values and national culture on concepts of pay fairness, the transfer of management practices across national boundaries, the Japanese financial keiretsu, the causes and consequences of self-employment, and human resource management practices in smaller and family-owned businesses. He received his PhD and MA in industrial relations from the University of Minnesota in 1981 and 1975, respectively, and his BCOM (bachelor of commerce) from the University of Western Australia in 1972.

Also joining CIBER is Greg Cutchin, managing director, who is new to Krannert. Cutchin received a BS in Spanish from Indiana University-Fort Wayne in 1971, an MS in business administration from Indiana University-Fort Wayne in 1976, and a PhD in educational studies from Purdue in 1998. He spent almost 20 years in international sales and marketing, with extensive experience in Central and South America. He also served with the Peace Corps in Guatemala. Most recently, he served as a national account manager for American College Testing (ACT), representing their market workforce assessment product. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Educational Research Association, and the Society of Human Resource Management.
