Two doctoral students received this year's Robert W. Johnson Award for Distinguished Research Proposal for their 2001 Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) proposals: Marikah Mancini, for her proposal titled, "Partial Privatization through Explicit Exclusion of Free-Riders in the Provision of Public Goods;" and Hui-Ming Deanna Wang, for her proposal titled, "An Empirical Investigation of Consideration Set in the Online Financial Service Market."

The award is intended to increase the recognition of outstanding Krannert doctoral student researchers, both internally and externally. Recipients were honored at a dinner during orientation in August.
