Appointed to Committee
A. Cosier, dean of the Krannert School of Management and
Leeds Professor of Management, has accepted appointment to
the Business Accreditation Committee of The International
Association for Management Education (AACSB).

Homecoming weekend, Krannert honored several individuals with
awards. The Krannert School Distinguished Service Award, presented
to individuals who have given distinguished service to enhance
the visibility of the Krannert School and the quality of its
programs, went to Melissa Emery, founding partner of the marketing
research and consulting firm Viewfinder, and to former Purdue
President Steven Beering.
Distinguished Alumni Award, given to Krannert alumni who have
demonstrated success in their professions, community service
achievements, and service to Purdue University and the Krannert
School of Management, went to Kenneth Stuff, president and
chief executive officer of Syndicate Systems Inc., and to James
Lewis, vice president of financial management for Walt Disney
John S. Day Distinguished Alumni Academic Service Award recognizes
an outstanding Krannert graduate whose service within the academic
community reflects the spirit and service of former Krannert
Dean John Day to Purdue University and the Krannert School
of Management. The 2000 award recipient was Dennis Weidenaar,
professor of economics and former dean of the Krannert School.
