Admissions

We thank you for your interest in applying to Purdue University. Our Master’s Programs are currently accepting applications. We look forward to receiving your information!

At Purdue, you’ll be challenged by engaging, demanding faculty, and talented fellow students. To select the most promising candidates to strengthen our diverse intellectual community, our admissions committee performs a holistic admission review process which considers many different elements.

Our review of your application begins with an emphasis on the following factors:

  • Academic record
  • Test scores
  • Work experience
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Essays
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Current Professional Resume
  • Information About Community Involvement
  • Interview feedback

In order to fully facilitate the review of each candidate’s application, the committee can only render an admission decision after receiving all required application materials, which are listed within the online application and explained in more detail on the Application Requirements. Subsequently, the Purdue Master’s admissions office insists that all transcripts, documents, and supporting materials be fully authentic and reserves the right to require verification.

Application Fee Waiver Opportunity for Qualified 2-Year MBA Applicants

Under the vision and leadership of President Mitch Daniels, Purdue University has served as a leader in making exceptional education opportunities affordable for students. Among its cost reduction initiatives, Purdue has frozen undergraduate tuition for at least four years, made textbooks more affordable, reduced room and board costs and promoted financial literacy in communications to students.

In an effort to make the Krannert School of Management graduate experience more accessible to prospective students, as of March 1, 2016, the school is piloting an offer of an application fee waiver.  The waiver will be available to Fall 2016 applicants of the school’s Full-Time (2-year) MBA program who are U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States holding a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) and a minimum total GMAT score of 500.

The Krannert School is committed to offering a world class MBA that is both affordable and offers an exceptional Return On Investment to its students (Ranked #3 in the nation by Bloomberg Businessweek for highest ROI).

Domestic applications for the Fall 2016 entry term are requested by May 1, 2016.
