Xiaoshuang graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2016. In addition to her understanding of economics and finance, she has developed mathematics, problem solving, and computer skills.
During her internship in China Construction Bank, she became aware of their increasing dependence on computer models and software to deal with various financial issues. Through that experience she became interested in pursuing her MS in Business Analytics and Information Systems to make herself a financial professional with well-rounded expertise in both finance and IT.
Xiaoshuang wanted to strengthen her analytical skills by learning Python, R, data mining, optimization techniques, information system and big data analytics by joining the MS in Business Analytics and Information Management (BAIM) program at Purdue University. She is looking forward to collaborating with the faculty team and student community.
