10. Can I submit my application without test scores?

Applications will not begin the review process until all application materials (including payment, test scores, transcripts and recommendations) are received. The Admissions Committee requires that all test scores be received before applications can be reviewed. International students whose native language is not English must provide some form of English language assessment test.  Self-reported test scores can sometimes be used for committee review, but official scores must be received before admission decisions are finalized.

13. What can I expect in an interview?

Interviews usually last about 30 minutes and include both behavioral and case questions. Your success in an interview does not depend on identifying the “correct” answer, but rather on how clearly you define the problem, how logically you structure your analysis, and how well you communicate your thoughts.

Here is a sample list of case questions:

  • · How many light bulbs are there in London? (J.P. Morgan)
  • · How many basketballs can you fit in this room? (Google)
  • · If you had 5,623 participants in a tournament, how many games would need to be played to determine the winner? (Amazon)
  • · How do you weigh an elephant without using a weighing machine? (IBM)
