Purdue University's Business English Bootcamp

The Business English Bootcamp is designed for International MBA, MSHRM and MS(A) Students, as well as experienced business professionals.

Applicants to the MBA and Master's Program - Students applying for the Business English Bootcamp program must select Summer 2015 on the admissions application.  

Sponsored Students - Select Summer 2015 on the admissions application for your mandatory start in the Business English Bootcamp program.

The Business English Bootcamp is designed to provide International MBA, MSHRM and MS(A) Students, as well as experienced business professionals, an intense experience with business English. Topics include reading and analyzing business cases, giving business presentations, reading and dissecting business periodicals such as the Wall Street Journal, and working to solve problems in multicultural teams with business English.

Photo of class in sessionApplication - Those interested in attending the BEB are encouraged to register no later than May 1st, 2015. MBA and Master’s Program Students will be directly admitted to the program. Other applicants will be evaluated to determine their eligibility to participate and contacted by a program administrator shortly thereafter.

Program Details - Classes will be held on the Purdue University in Rawls Hall/Krannert Building, Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with lunch provided. 

The program will be led by Purdue Professors who have extensive experience working with specialized business English courses. They'll share a wealth of global experiences and prepare students for successful business careers. Learning outcomes include stronger business English skills designed to enhance your ability to function in the business classroom or corporate boardroom. Students will increase their confidence in interacting with colleagues, leading teams and driving business results in a global environment. The cohort will also visit several corporations to engage with business professionals.

Students who successfully finish each step of the Business English Bootcamp will receive a certificate of completion and six college credits (that do not count towards graduation for Master's students).Enjoying a baseball game

Housing - On-campus housing is not provided, included are housing resources for living in West Lafayette/Lafayette, Indiana
