MS(F) Admissions and Requirements

Admissions Deadline

Please note: Because the MS(F) program begins in June, applications will not be considered for admission from MS(F) applicants outside the United States who graduate after December 20, 2014. We welcome you to consider applying the following year.

  • Application Round 1 (Early Round) is September 1 – November 15.
  • Application Round 2 (Priority Round) is November 16 – January 15.
  • Application Round 3 (Final International Round) is January 16 – February 16.
  • Application Round 4 (Final Domestic Round) is March 2– April 1, or until classes are full.

To find out whether classes are full, please contact the Purdue MBA and MS Programs Admissions Office.

MS(F) Requirements:

While full-time post-baccalaureate work experience is not required for admission to Purdue’s MS(F) program, many MS(F) students do enter the program with one or more years of relevant experience. The median work experience for recent MS(F) classes is two years, but about half of our program’s students have less than one year of full-time experience. However, those coming straight from an undergraduate program often have significant co-opportunity or internship experiences. Applicants to the MS(F) program may submit the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in lieu of the GMAT. The MS(F) program begins in June, and we strongly recommend that MS(F) applicants from outside the United States graduating after May 31 wait until next year to apply.
