Theresa Byrd, International Students and Scholars Liaison
Theresa coordinates the Curricular Practical Training for Master’s Programs student internships. She reviews job postings and leads hospitality efforts for recruiters and employers. Theresa enjoys international travel, gardening and playing the piano.
Jayne Flinn, Associate Director
Jayne oversees efforts to expand and create partnerships with corporations nationwide and globally for Krannert Master’s Programs. Before coming to Purdue, Jayne spent 20 years in the professional arena of Business Development and Management. She and her husband, Randy, have three children. She is proud to be representing her alma mater.
Pris Gerde, Advisor in Residence
Pris is retired from corporate management with more than 35 years of experience. Her career focus is in human resources and corporate communications. Pris enjoys career counseling and student mentoring in her part-time position. She is a Purdue graduate and enjoys cooking, reading, Boilermaker Athletics and volunteering within the community.
Craig Hanson, Assistant Director
Craig is the point of contact for the Symplicity CMA system, a focus on employer interface with students, and a career counselor. A Purdue undergraduate and Krannert MBA graduate, Craig had a 32 year business career with several domestic and international companies. A former Purdue varsity swimmer, he enjoys bicycling to work.
Gene Ivnik, Associate Director
A retired President with over 40 years in the consumer products industry, Gene now is coaching students in their professional development. He has a passion for helping students achieve their goals and also learning from them. Gene now now spends most of his personal time with his grandkids and playing golf.
Chris Luebbe, Assistant Director
Chris is the main point of contact for MS Finance and MS Accounting students and is a career counselor. Chris is the Standard Career Management Account (CMA) troubleshooter in the KPDC office. Chris lives in West Lafayette and enjoys brewing homemade beer.
Jill Mullens, Associate Director
Jill leads City Trek and “Doing Business in the U.S.” trips for the Master’s Programs. She is a career counselor and coach with a passion for helping others. Her past experiences include working in HR and recruiting for hospitality and financial services. When not working, Jill enjoys spending time with her 2 year old, cooking and scrapbooking.
Sue Niemczyk, Advisor In Residence
Sue is a retired Operations Vice President with several international corporations and experienced in contract management in the education and healthcare industries. A former Purdue University instructor, Sue specializes in career counseling, leadership coaching, resume building and cover letter reviews. Sue loves coaching tomorrow’s women business leaders!
Alan Studzinski, Advisor In Residence
Alan is a retired senior executive with over 40 years of business experience. His career focus is in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Strategy. In his part-time position, he enjoys career counseling and student mentoring. Alan has a Culinary Arts degree, but has never appeared on the Food Network!
