What to Wear and When to Wear It
Shorts/slacks/jeans with a t-shirt or sweatshirt
No ripped jeans and no low-riding jeans - wear a belt if needed
When to wear it: Class, social events on campus
A good business casual outfit is a button down shirt with a sport coat (or sweater), khaki pants with a belt, dress socks, and loafers - a tie will dress this up a bit
Following is a range of outfits starting with more casual to more businesslike:
- Khaki pants and polo shirt
- Khaki pants and a button-down shirt
- Khaki pants, sport coats, and polo shirt
- Khaki pants, sport coat, and a button-down shirt
- Dress pants, sport coat/blazer and tie
For business casual events, men should not wear tennis shoes, sweats, jeans, or shorts.
When to wear it: CityTreks, Company Information Sessions
Professional events require a business suit.
A good professional outfit is a dark blue or grey suit, a starched white shirt, a coordinating tie, leather belt, dress socks, and polished dress shoes.
Men should not wear khaki pants or any separates (i.e. sport coat and khaki pants).
When to wear it: Interviews, CityTreks, Information sessions
