Top Tip to Mentees:

  • There's a handful of tips that I could've used my freshman year including; investing a planner to help with time management (something that I had to learn very quickly and is probably the most important thing to possess in college), get involved on campus as quickly as you can (if you see a club callout that interests you in the slightest bit still check it out), don't overstack your plate right out of the gate (don't think you have to do all this stuff and take a bunch of classes first semester freshman year to get ahead, take a semester to adjust because there's plenty of time to get ahead the rest of your college career), etc. These would primarily be the tips among others I would give to incoming freshman in Krannert.
