Military and Veterans Affairs
Neil Armstrong, a Purdue graduate, took man’s first steps on the moon. We are pleased to welcome you to take the steps towards continuing your education at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, helping you to take the leap from military to college.
Mission
At Purdue University and the Krannert School of Management, our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends welcome the ever-growing number of veterans back home and voice our commitment to helping them with a successful transition to civilian life. Our diverse community supports veterans, active duty personnel, reservists, National Guard members, and ROTC students in pursuing their educational career goals. We acknowledge that, in addition to being students, they have given service, made sacrifices, and demonstrated dedication on behalf of our country, and we are dedicated to integrating these students into our community to enhance their leadership potential. We anticipate that they will be future role models and develop into world leaders who will continue to make a difference in our global society.
Helping Those Who Serve
The Krannert School is a military-friendly educational institution that reaches out to veterans, active duty members, reservists, National Guard members and ROTC students in an effort to help them achieve success in the business world. In addition to the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, scheduled this year for November 1-9, the School will host a Military and Veterans Affairs Symposium this fall. If you know of any-post/9/11 veterans with disabilities who want to start their own businesses, please contact Melissa Evens, Director of Veterans Affairs, at mevens@purdue.edu. You can also sign up for a newsletter about Krannert's initiatives for veterans and military personnel at http://bit.ly/YIcjnn.
