Federal Benefits
Students must apply with the Department of Veterans Affairs to receive a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). This COE outlines which benefit(s) they are eligible and which benefit they elected to utilize. This COE must be taken to the Veterans Certifying Official on campus for the enrollment and benefit to be certified in order for payments to be initiated by the VA.

Child of Veteran and Public Safety Officer Supplemental Grant Program (CVO, aka CDV)
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE), Division of Student Financial Aid (SFA) administers 13 different tuition and fee assistance programs at public colleges for eligible children of disabled Indiana veterans, eligible children and spouses of certain members of the Indiana National Guard killed while serving on state active duty, and eligible children and spouses of certain Indiana public safety officers killed in the line of duty. Indiana residency rules apply.As a supplement to other state financial aid, the grant pays 100% of tuition and regularly assessed fees. It does not cover special course fees, college differential fees, other fees such as housing and food or books. Click here.
