Why should a prospective student choose the Krannert School?
"Krannert has very academically unique characteristics; one of those is that the school is quantitatively strong, which allows me to connect the new business perspective I hope to gain with my engineering background. It also allows me and other students within the program to better position ourselves for future job markets."

What extracurricular clubs are you involved in at Krannert, and how have they contributed to your experience?
"I am Interested in finance, marketing, and public speaking; so, I joined the “finance”, “marketing”, and “Toastmaster” clubs to build my skills on those certain areas."

How would you describe the Krannert faculty?
"Our faculty is truly outstanding in providing direct help when I need it, and I find them very approachable. They are often willing to meet with students outside of class times - even during weekends!

Your classmates come from a variety of work backgrounds...what have you been able to learn from them?
"More than 45% of the student body is comprised of international students and come from a range of work experiences that many of us do not have access to. I found this fact very rewarding because even when we are here in the US, we manage to learn different ideas, thoughts, business cultures, market practices from student body coming from all different parts of the world."

How has the Krannert School helped develop your leadership skills?
"The school provides tremendous amount of resources to develop student leadership skills. For instance, the ‘launching global leaders’ class has provided useful resources such as 360 degree evaluation, one-on-one coaching sessions for personal development, inviting guest speakers for the training etc."

How would you describe living in West Lafayette?
"West Lafayette is a cozy town, and it is also very safe! Students are mostly living on campus; hence, it is pretty social - we enjoy a lot of activities together. People outside campus i.e. Lafayette or neighborhood are also very friendly."

Away from Krannert...what do you do for fun?
"I enjoy working out especially since Purdue has a newly improved sport facility. Also, I enjoy exploring the city and exploring other cities and states during school breaks."

When we catch up with you in 10 years, what do you expect to be doing?
"I would either be in senior marketing position for a consumer products company or running my own consumer Products Company."
