What do you like most about the Krannert School and Purdue?
"The tradition of academic excellence and outreach to the community beyond are the hallmarks of Purdue that I appreciate the most. It is a place where both students and faculty create exciting futures for themselves and others."

How would you describe West Lafayette?
"West Lafayette is a great college town, just an hour or two away from Indianapolis and Chicago. You can experience both small-town and large-city living at the same time. It is a wonderful place to live."

Why should a prospective student choose the Krannert School?
"You will have the opportunity to be taught by some very smart people who care about you and your future. Our curriculum will develop your analytical skills and prepare you for a lifetime of growing in your career (or through career changes!)."

What do you enjoy most about teaching?
"The students! We challenge each other to do our best work, and I have the pleasure of watching their career success in the years after they leave Purdue."

What are your current research interests?
"I am interested in discovering more about how accounting information affects stock prices and the strategic interactions between competing companies. I am also working on projects that explore corporations' decisions to be green manufacturers or socially responsible entities."

Away from Krannert...what are some of your hobbies?
"I enjoy playing the piano and painting. My mother was an art teacher, and both of my parents are very musical, so the arts have always been a big part of my life."
