Why should a prospective master's student choose the Krannert School?
"Krannert offers students a great foundation to take the next step in their career development. The faculty constantly challenges students to go above and beyond their comfort zones to prepare them for the real-world business environment. The diverse student body allows students to hear differing viewpoints from fellow classmates who have come from different cultures and work experiences. This gives students the opportunity to analyze new perspectives and learn to work in diverse teams."

What extracurricular clubs are you in involved in at Krannert, and how have they contributed to your experience?
"I am currently the vice president of both the Krannert Student Managed Investment Fund and the Krannert Investment Banking Club. These two positions have allowed me to improve my leadership skills and meet other students, alumni, and business professionals who have experience in areas that I am interested in. It has also helped me network and learn things that I would not have learned in the classroom."

How has Krannert helped in your internship and job searches?
"Krannert Graduate Career Services (GCS) can be a valuable resource if students take advantage of all that they have to offer. Resources that have helped my internship search were resume critiques, mock interviews, and working with members of career services to develop a job search strategy that took advantage of all the contacts I currently had from my past work experiences."

How would you describe the Krannert faculty?
"Krannert faculty members show a real interest in their students' development both inside and outside the classroom. They are always willing to help and encourage students to share their views and past experiences on a daily basis. The faculty is the heart and soul of Krannert."

Your classmates come from a variety of work backgrounds...what have you been able to learn from them?
"Having classmates that come from a variety of different work backgrounds enhances the learning experience tremendously when students share their past experiences during class. Krannert has students that come from different corporate, non-profit, international, and military services organizations. Therefore, hearing others viewpoints during class make it a real-world learning experience."

How has the diversity of the Krannert School enhanced your experience?
"The diversity of the student body has been my favorite part of coming to Krannert. Having classmates that come from so many different geographic regions of the world has helped me understand how countries around the world do business differently than in the United States. Working in diverse teams has allowed me to adapt and lead in situations than I have been accustomed to in the past. This will help me in my future career endeavors."

How has the Krannert School helped develop your leadership skills?
"Krannert encourages students to challenge themselves and go above and beyond their comfort zones. This is done both in the classroom and with extracurricular activities. There are so many opportunities for students to get involved in student organizations during their time at Krannert. I encourage future students to find a club that interests them and take an active role in that student organization."

How would you describe family living in West Lafayette?
"West Lafayette is a small Midwestern town that has its share of things to do for students at all different stages of life. There are nice residential neighborhoods for families to live and the school systems in the area are supposed to be very good. Krannert also tries to keep families involved with the Krannert Partners Association (KPA), which organizes activities for students and their families."

Away from Krannert...what are do you do for fun?
"I like to spend time with my family and friends, travel, and watch and play sports."
