A Condensed Management Program to Provide the Skills you Need
A growing number of high-performing employees are interested in the economic potential of their work, whether it is applied in existing industries or in entrepreneurial start-up ventures. While highly adept at their professions, many need an increased understanding of business beyond what they have learned on the job. To address that need, AMP provides a program to fit with participants' ongoing responsibilities and introduce them to the management topics they need. It takes a proactive approach by allowing new or aspiring managers and other advancing professionals to gain a deeper understanding of business while continuing their careers.
The sixteenth annual AMP program will be held May 13 to 24, 2013.
AMP features:
- Six hours each day for 10 days (Monday-Friday for two consecutive weeks)
- Internationally recognized faculty members who make Krannert one of the world's top-ranked business schools
- Coursework in Accounting, Business Law, Innovation, Economics, Financial Management, Leadership, Marketing Management, and Strategic Management
- Opportunity to earn 4.5 CEUs
Participants receive comprehensive class notes for each program segment, and may include pre-program reading assignments that prepare them for the in-class experience. Although there are no graded assignments or exams in the program, participants prepare readings, cases, problem sets, and related homework to bring out key ideas.
Participants gain the business insight to make more informed and substantive contributions to their organizations and their careers - both immediately and in the long term.
