International students should not apply for a visa or make travel plans until receiving notification of admission, via e-mail, from the Graduate School. Obtaining the necessary U.S. immigration documents (I-20 or DS-2019) from the Office of International Students and Scholars (ISS) is a multi-step process. These documents will be available to you only after the Graduate School and ISS have completed all admission procedures. Please refer to the Graduate School admissions e-mail under the U.S. immigration document heading under the General Information section. The ISS office advises international students on all matters relating to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and U.S. Information Agency regulations. Information from the ISS office will be received only after an international student has been admitted and processed by the Graduate School. |
