The Krannert School of Management admits a number of outstanding international students each year. All international applicants must take the GMAT. Applicants whose native language is not English also are required to take the Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), administered by the Educational Testing Service. The score must be less than 2 years old on the date of your admission to be valid. The test should be taken before the international student application deadline.
International students who are admitted to the School must be able to write and speak English fluently, because written assignments and participation in class discussions are critically important for success in the program. International student applications will not be considered until an official TOEFL score has been received. If your original college/university transcripts are not in English, you must send both an official transcript in the original language and a certified English translation. If your transcript does not show the award of your degree and the date awarded, then you must provide a certified copy of the diploma and a certified English translation.
Applicants from South American countries: Our experience has shown that a certified diploma and certified English translation usually are required.
Applicants from India: Our experience has shown that you will be required to provide documentation that verifies the awarding of a baccalaureate degree or its U.S. equivalent. This documentation must be either an original document or a copy of the original document certified by an official from the issuing university.
