Course Description :

This course uses text readings, problems, and case analyses to explore financial decision making in an international framework, principally from the perspective of the managers of a multinational corporation. Investing across national boundaries presents unique opportunities and risks, thus, domestic financial theory must be extended to incorporate these additional factors. Subjects covered include the economic and political factors driving foreign exchange risk, methods to recognize and manage foreign exchange risk, analysis of foreign direct investment, methods to finance offshore subsidiaries (including a look at Eurocurrencies and the global securities markets), etc.

MGMT 61000 and MGMT 61100.
