Course Description :

This course covers the basic topics in Game Theory including extensive form games, strategic form games, dominant strategies, dominance solvability, Nash equilibrium, subgame perfect equilibrium, games of incomplete information, and repeated games. Applications include the modeling of competition and collusion in markets, research and development races, bargaining theory, the theory of incentives, auction theory, and mechanism design.
