The course is an introductory course in the study of International Business Law. Business managers in this world of global trading and finance need to understand the legal implications of doing business in foreign countries, including a look at the historical background into the different legal systems throughout the world and how they compare. The purpose of this course is to give future professional managers an insight into the structure and operation of the judicial process as it affects managerial decision-making in international trade. The hope is to sensitize students to the current legal problems and pitfalls they will face in the management of business and prepare the students for doing business around the globe.
