This course provides an introduction of basic principles of econometric analysis that may help students understand finance theories and their empirical applications. It also aims to equip students with appropriate statistical techniques for doing applied financial research. The statistical techniques are particularly well suited for analyzing financial data (both cross-sectional and time-series).
