There
are several reasons why students with families
are attracted to Krannert. One of these is Krannert's
unique MSIA
program. The MSIA is a one-year
alternative to the traditional MBA degree that
comprises the core curriculum of the MBA. This
degree often appeals to students with more extensive
work experience who may have children of their
own. In addition, there are various social groups that allow
students and their family members to share the
experience while at Krannert.
Safe,
Clean Community
Students also cite the city of
West
Lafayette as a factor in making
their decision to come to Krannert. The
city is a small community that is one hour northwest
of Indianapolis and two hours southeast of Chicago.
The city has been recognized nationally for its
excellent school system, its well planned green
spaces and its extensive bicycle routes.
Many describe the home of Krannert as a community
with all the benefits of a small town with a cosmopolitan
flavor.
Family
Friendly
Krannert makes student's families feel welcome
right away. During Unite
Week family friendly social events
are a fundamental element of getting oriented
to life as a Krannert student. Events like
these give your family the chance to make friends
and contacts at the same time you are meeting
your fellow students.
