 Leadership
Take the Lead
Krannert life includes many opportunities to get involved and make a difference. You can hone your leadership skills not only through academic achievement, but also through participation in volunteer activities and the various organizations offered by the school.

Management Volunteer Program (MVP)
Founded by students in 1991, MVP responds to local needs, improving the community in which students live while giving them leadership opportunities. MVP projects have included mentoring local students, cleaning public parks, and collecting toys for hospitalized children.

Krannert Graduate Student Association (KGSA)
The KGSA is the central graduate student organization. As part of its role, KGSA:

Organizes professional development programs and sponsors volunteerism - KGSA uses resources from the Graduate Student Leadership Fund to sponsor volunteer and professional development activities, many of which are organized by the various student clubs devoted to specific functions or areas of interest.
Coordinates alumni contacts - Alumni networking activities include the Alumni Mentor Program, which matches an alumni mentor to an entering master's student for professional development.
Serves as a liaison with administration and faculty and advises on curriculum improvement.
Promotes diversity and champions student needs.
Serves as a central link between the other student clubs and organizations at Krannert.
Organizes social events - These events include tailgate parties, movie nights, happy hours, banquets, picnics, and golf days.
