All OBHR PhD students are required to:
- Complete a minimum of 48 credits of
appropriate graduate coursework.
- Complete and present to the OBHR
area a 606 research project by the Fall
of the 2nd year of the program.
- Pass the content and methods prelim
examination.
- Develop effective teaching skills
and to teach as needed by the OBHR area.
- Competently contribute to research
projects that lead to papers being
submitted for presentation at national
conferences and for publication.
- Seek a dissertation fellowship by
submitting a dissertation funding
proposal.
- Submit and defend a dissertation
proposal.
- Complete and depend a dissertation.

1. Managerial Skills (take any 3
below; waived for MBA graduates) (8-9 credits)

Students choose with the help of their advisor 12
credits of graduate statistics from a slate of
courses such as Introduction to Statistics, ANOVA
and Experimental Design, Regression Analysis,
Multivariate Statistics, Multi-Level Analyses,
Structural Equation Modeling, and Psychometric
Theory.
