Leadership Fund

The Leadership Fund is an opportunity for students and student organizations to apply for funds to enhance their leadership development skills.

The Leadership Fund supports the enrichment and recognition of programs and activities for undergraduate students. Examples may include the Leadership Speakers Series, the Spring Recognition Banquet, the Barbara G. Doster Leadership Forum, state and national conferences, and other events and activities.

To petition the fund, students must read and fill out the important documents on the right and return them to Julie Lagrange in Krannert 352.

About the Leadership Fund

The Leadership Fund has been established through the School of Management Employers Forum Career Fair and from the generous donations of alumni and corporate friends. The Fund is to be used to enhance the education of Krannert School of Management undergraduate students outside of the classroom. Students are encouraged to petition the Leadership Fund on behalf of an individual student or student organization for funds to support their programs, activities, and services. The Leadership Fund will be allocated to provide assistance and/or enrichment to undergraduate students.

Leadership Fund Committee

The purpose of the School of Management Leadership Fund Committee is the following:

  • To hear requests from organizations in need of funds
  • To hear requests from School of Management undergraduate students in need of funds for educational purposes
  • To oversee the School of Management Undergraduate Leadership Fund

The committee members will include the following individuals:

  • Director of Undergraduate Programs
  • Faculty Member
  • President of SMEF
  • Two members of President's Council

The student committee members serve on the committee to add the student perspective to the funding decisions and to diversify the committee. The majority of requests for funds will be heard from students; therefore, student input is essential.
