Once you accept your offer of admission, be sure to register to attend Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR); Purdue’s one-day program for newly admitted, undergraduate students. At STAR you will be formally welcomed, meet with an academic advisor, develop your course schedule, and receive important information that will help you be successful at Purdue. Attendance at STAR is required for all new and transfer domestic undergraduate students.
You may register to attend STAR via the MyPurdue portal. Later, you may reschedule your STAR date (through MyPurdue) as your circumstances change. However, space on each STAR date is limited and registration for each date will close two working days prior to the event. Shortly after you register to attend, you will receive a confirmation email at your Purdue account. Approximately two to three weeks before you arrive for STAR, you will receive a package of materials with additional information to help you prepare for your visit.
