Email advising can be a quick, convenient alternative to meeting with your advisor. If you need an immediate answer, schedule an appointment or go to the Advising Office during your advisors walk-in hours. Your advisor is able to answer a number of questions by email, however, many questions are more appropriately answered in person.
Many of the requests we receive by e-mail can be easily answered with a quick search of the Purdue or Krannert web sites. If the information you are requesting is available on the Krannert or Purdue websites, your advisor may redirect you to the appropriate site. Here is a list of university links that may help answer your question.
