Quantitative Methods Minor for Industrial Management Majors

DOWNLOAD PLAN OF STUDY FOR THE QUANTITATIVE METHODS MINOR
Fall 2008 and later
Fall 2007

For those students interested in a quantitative methods minor, there are four options available. The first option focuses on statistics and the courses that are suggested here offer a practical application. The second option is simulation/stochastic processes and is geared more towards Industrial Engineering. The third option, mathematical programming, is suggested instead of a math minor because it offers a practical application as opposed to straight theory. By no means are there courses a set sequence and therefore you have the choice of any combination of courses listed here of others from the Statistics, Math, or Industrial Engineering Departments that will fit your needs. The broad exposure option is a suggested way to combine all three options.

This minor would be valuable for those students who have a technical orientation and enjoy working with computers.
