Quantitative Methods

The area of Quantitative Methods provides managers with the ability to have analytic insights in the face of uncertainty.  How do you assess the effectiveness of a service? How do you establish the value of a new product? What is the likelihood of success of a new venture?

Quantitative Methods, or Quant, is the art of finding the right question and the science of answering it. Always in research mode, Quant professionals reduce issues to their smallest element and construct ways to measure, compare, and project. The work results in recommendations, often to senior administration, that help set the course for the business.

Mathand statistics are constants in this field. You need to enjoy and appreciate all forms of math. Curiosity is at the center of all quantitative methods. It is search and discover, then do it again. And finally, it is presentation. Whether by you or someone else on your team, your results will be presented to others. Clear, concise and comprehensive information need to be conveyed.
