Management 301 focuses on career development and the job search process. Another piece of the Launching Business Leaders program, the course teaches portfolio building, career planning strategies, and communication skills for career fairs, interviews, networking and correspondence.
Students will learn to craft and deliver an elevator pitch to potential employers highlighting their interests, skills, experiences and values. They will identify and search information sources and then use research strategies to determine which companies would be a good career fit. LinkedIn profiles and best practices will be covered as well as personal branding.
