At Purdue Krannert School of Management we appreciate and value diversity in all its many forms.
Krannert's Business Opportunity Program increases diversity on campus and provides students with a supportive network. Our Women in Management program encourages and empowers women to pursue management and leadership opportunities. Krannert's Cross-Cultural Committee works to meet the needs of international students and offers inter-cultural programs and learning opportunities.
In addition, we have a Director of Military and Veterans Affairs to assist veterans pursuing a business education. Programs include the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, which provides business training to post-9/11 military veterans. Another resource, Krannert Outsource unites the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning) community and strives to create a supportive environment.
Here are some of the other Krannert clubs and Purdue organizations that support our diverse student population:
- Black Cultural Center
- Latino Cultural Center
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Center
- Native American Educational and Cultural Center
- Purdue Student Veterans
- Society of Minority Managers
- Women in Business
International students, religious groups and other interests are represented on campus as well. There are more than 950 official student organizations offering social interaction and educational opportunities outside of the classroom.
We encourage students to not only connect with those from similar backgrounds, but to form friendships with students from different circumstances and geographic locations to gain a greater understanding of other customs and cultures.
