When I was looking at colleges, one of my main focuses was finding a campus with a welcoming, family-like environment, because in addition to academic life, the university you're a part of will be your home for a large, and exciting, part of your life. For me, Purdue was the place I wanted to call home. The professors, faculty, and students I met were completely genuine people, willing to help me with whatever questions I had. Now as a Krannert student, I get to experience that generosity on a daily basis.
Despite the fact Purdue is a large university, Krannert itself is fairly small, which I believe to be the best of both worlds. Around campus there are hundreds of organizations, thousands of new people, Big Ten sporting events, and resources that only a large university could offer. Within Krannert, I know the majority of the people in my classes and the professors, teaching assistants, and advising staff are all truly interested in helping me succeed with my personal goals. Having such individual attention in a unversity so large is by far one of my favorite things about the Krannert School and Purdue.
Deciding to attend Purdue is one of the best decisions I ever made and I hope that you will consider making it your home too! Boiler Up!
