Krannert has helped develop the analytical, communicative and leadership skills that will be advantageous as I pursue a career in law after graduation. My four years at Krannert have pushed me to levels beyond my expectations and I have learned that I am capable of doing anything with the right mix of dedication and motivation.

I have really enjoyed my time at Purdue and wouldn’t trade my experience for the world. I believe that I made the most of my time here and one of the best things I did was study abroad my sophomore year in Seville, Spain at the University of Business and Economics.

Spain was an incredible experience because I was able to achieve my goals of bettering my Spanish, gain an international look on the US and Global economy and most importantly, learn about the culture and life of Spain. Purdue’s Study Abroad office and Krannert’s study abroad liaison helped make this an unforgettable experience and prepared me very well. In one semester of fifteen credit hours in Seville, I received credit for over thirty hours at Purdue!

Even though I had a blast in Spain, I did miss Purdue. As the saying goes, “You can take the Boilermaker out of Purdue, but you can’t take Purdue out of the Boilermaker.” I am very proud to be a student at Purdue, as it is a place I call home, and there’s no place like it. Krannert really is a great place to be and by knowing that I wanted a small school with a family atmosphere but wanted to be a part of something bigger with all the great events Purdue has to offer such as; Big 10 Football Games, Speakers such as Bill Cosby and entertainment such as Dave Matthews, Purdue and Krannert were really the perfect fit for me.
