We will increase undergraduate enrollment by 60% to 4,000, and double the size of our graduate programs to 2,000 students.

Additional outstanding faculty scholars and students will thrive in a new state-of-the-art building that fits our forward-looking culture and promotes active learning and design thinking. The flexible space will house new curriculum and projects, collaboration rooms for student work with corporate partners, a home for our expanded professional development center, and labs to support initiatives in business analytics, real estate finance, and emerging financial technologies. Scaling up positions us to become a world leader in business education and a top-10 business school.

Our Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) degree program creates a unique environment: talented students work at the intersection of business and technology to create solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. Our initial cohort drew more than twice the anticipated number of students, and we will double it again to make this program, and our new undergraduate program in Business Analytics and Information Management, the flagships of the new Daniels School of Business.

Students who master the skills of gathering big data and using it to drive business decisions become the most valuable working professionals of today and tomorrow. 

Students come to Purdue seeking knowledge, but some of life’s most important lessons aren’t found in a book or a lecture hall.

Transformational experiences like leadership immersion trips, case competitions, undergraduate research, corporate consulting, and study abroad change the way students look at the world. When we switch the undergraduate experience from passive to active, we produce agile, critical thinkers capable of seeing and then tackling the world’s biggest problems.

Many students are influenced by a culture that increasingly doubts the value that profitable businesses offer society. Our business students will begin their journey with a close study of transformative texts in which great thinkers have grappled with the history, philosophy, and economic theory of market capitalism.

Case competitions, a new writing lab, and communications courses taught with a business lens will prepare our students to speak well, write well, and interact well.
