Rene R. Lewin is President of RRLCapital LLC, which invests in business startups by providing seed and Series A financing capital. The venture fund invests in new technology-driven companies or services that offer a competitive advantage over existing technology or services.

Rene retired from Wyeth in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Wyeth in 1994, Rene worked for Eli Lilly where he held a variety of positions including President, Eli Lilly Canada; Executive Director of Corporate Affairs; and Executive Director of Human Resources for Lilly's worldwide Pharmaceuticals.

Rene received a BS in Business from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management and an MBA from Butler University. He was a visiting professor in Krannert's MBA program for four years. Rene currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Krannert. In 2016, he received the Alumni of the Year award from the Krannert School of Management.

Rene and his wife Karen manage the Rene and Karen Lewin Charitable Fund, which has established a scholarship endowment at Krannert for women and minorities. The Charitable Fund annually gives to many charitable organizations but has focused on Gleaners Food Bank, which provides nearly 40 million meals to Indiana residents who are in need.
