Managing DirectorMary Pilotte

Mary Pilotte

We are pleased to announce that DCMME/GSCMI has hired Mary Pilotte as the new Managing Director. She began work with the center in July 2006. Along with 20 years of industrial/manufacturing experience in the areas of Aerospace, Airline, Automotive and Commercial products, Mary holds a BS degree in Technology from Purdue University and a MBA from Goizuetta Business School, Emory University. Her most recent industry responsibilities have included Strategic Initiatives (Mergers & Acquisitions; domestic/international operations optimization Project Management; target operations Integration Management), Corporate Strategic Planning, as well as Plant Operations Management. Being a native of Indiana, she has advocated the breadth and depth of Purdue’s students, faculty, and research efforts over her entire career. She is looking forward to continuing this effort on behalf of the Dauch Center for Management of Manufacturing Enterprises and the Global Supply Chain Management Initiative.

 

Assistant Director

Amanda Thompson

Amanda, a 2005 Krannert MBA graduate, served as assistant director of the Dauch Center for the Management of Manufacturing Enterprises, as well as the Global Supply Chain Management Initiative (GSCMI). Thompson’s MBA areas of academic focus were manufacturing and technology management, operations and finance. While she was a student, Thompson spent a summer as a strategic supplychain management intern with Ingersoll-Rand Security and Safety Division in Indianapolis. She received her BS in industrial engineering summa cum laude from Texas A&M.
