The Student Managed Venture Fund (SMVF) is a 3 credit hour experiential learning opportunity for Purdue undergraduate and graduate students. Students will be assigned to a team. Funds managed by Purdue Ventures will be available for investing in Purdue related start-ups. Students in the SMVF will be responsible for performing due diligence on potential real investment opportunities and making recommendations to an expert investment panel. The course is offered through a collaboration among the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Krannert School of Management, and the Purdue Research Foundation. There are no regularly scheduled class meetings. However, meetings will be called as needed.
