Krannert Finance Club

The Krannert Finance Club strives to facilitate the further understanding of global financial markets and financial issues to assist in the development of future business leaders, especially in financial positions. The club provides its members with networking opportunities with students, faculty, alumni, and business professionals. The club accomplishes this vision by, but not limited to, inviting distinguished guest speakers, sending teams to national and international case competitions, organizing and sponsoring networking trips to major financial firms and hosting various social events.

  • Krannert Alumni Panel

The Krannert Finance Club will be hosting an event for all students of Purdue to listen and question some of the most successful graduates from Purdue. Focusing on professional development, we will be bringing in a panel to speak to students about not only finance and entrepreneurship, but life in general. We hope this event will also lead to the exchange of ideas as students will have the opportunity to ask these alums about what some of their keys to success were as they navigated the workforce after Purdue. Our goal for the panel is for undergraduate, graduate and professional students to realize that their Purdue education creates the opportunity for them to lead others and make an impact in their career and the world.

We will begin our event with a resume and networking workshop to be held in Rawls hosted by Krannert students, staff and advisors. This portion of the event will allow students to get feedback on their resumes and practice basic networking skills. After the workshop, we will move to Fowler Hall where we will host our alumni panel and Q&A.

We hope to have around 250-300 students attend the event. We will need funding for workshop supplies as well as for speakers as they will be traveling and spending the evenings in the Union Hotel.
