The purpose of the Accounting Association is to expose Purdue students to the accounting profession and to develop them as young professionals. We strive to educate our members about the vast amount of accounting opportunities through our professional events. Our officers, committees, and active members work together to build our accounting opportunities and experience.
  • Krannert Accounting Night

Purdue Accounting Association is seeking funding to support our annual event, Krannert Accounting Night. We started this signature event last year in Fall 2016 and it was a great success. The event is held to educate students about the broad range of accounting professions, including jobs/internships with big four firms, regional, national, local, and corporate firms. The event is composed of multiple panel discussions, in which firm representatives will participate. Attendees can ask any questions they want, and the moderator will have questions prepared as well. There are networking sessions before and after the panel discussions, in which food will be provided. Last year we had 10 firms attend, all varying size, and we hope to increase interest this year. Purdue Accounting Association uses its funding for this event to provide food and other necessities that may be required.
