Ph.D. in Operations Research

Professor Pang is an associate professor in supply chain and operations management (SCOM) area at Krannert School of Management. He is also affiliated with Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, directing the Smart Health Lab. Prior to Purdue, he was a faculty member of City University of Hong Kong and Lancaster University while holding an adjunct position at Norweigian School of Economics.  

His research interests include statistical and machine learning and stochastic dynamic programming, risk and decision analysis, supply chain and service operations, and healthcare delivery systems and medical decision making. He is a member of INFORMS Scociety and POMS and is currently a senior editor of Production and Operations Management and editor of Journal of Blockchain Research.  

He has rich industrial experiences as network and software engineer, management consultant and tech entrepreneur. He is serving the board of directors for China Titans Energy Technology.
